We are looking to recruit stewards and marshals  Wirral Egg Run 2009 on the 29th March 2009.

If  you are interested in volunteering to steward along the  route  please contact use via email  at  stewards@wirraleggrun.co.uk or  marshals@wirraleggrun.co.uk.

Your support will help us to ensure that we can run the 2009 event as safely as  posible.

No experience is necessary as we will give you the training you will need to become a steward or marshal on our event

The Wirral Egg Run committee have got charity status.

There are several reasons for us getting charity status the largest being we have to be a registered charity because of how much the charity had raised from the 2008.

This year we urge children’s charities and organisations that are based on the Wirral to contact us to apply for money that is raised from the 2009 Wirral Egg Run.

Today we have confirmation that Wirral Borough Council  stating that the organisers of the Wirral Egg Run advertised on the website www.wirraleggrun.org that planned to run there run on the 22nd March 2009 have decided that their run will not be taking place and have withdrawn there request to Wirral Borough Council to be allowed to run an there event.

The only authorised Wirral Egg Run Charity event will  be ran by the Wirral Egg Run registered charity as advertised on our website www.wirraleggrun.co.uk that is planned to take place on the 29th March 2009 this official event is supported by Wirral and offically authorised by Merseyside Police.
